Protect Your PC for Free
Six recommended safety measures to protect your PC- and your all important files- easy to set up and they are free.
Protect your PC now for free:
1- SECURITY ESSENTIALS
download and install Microsoft's free security suite from www.microsoft.com/security-essentials/default.aspx.
2- WINDOWS FIREWALL
Ensure windows firewall is on Go to Control ---> Panel system and security --->windows firewall, this will prevent access to your PC through the internet.
3- INTERNET EXPLORER 8
Cookies can causes a security threat so it is a good idea to remove them; you can do this in internet Explorer 8 by going to safety---> Delete Browsing History.
4- THREATFIRE
Download Threafire (a free security suite from PC tools) from www.threatfire.com. The suite will then constantly check your PC security.
5- USER ACCOUNT CONTROL
Go to Control Panel ---> User Accounts and family Safety --->User Accounts with UAC switched on you will be asked for permission to run programs.
6- WINDOW BUCKUP
Go to backup and Restore Center ---> set up backup – choose a backup destination and select a frequency for how often to perform the backup.

What is podcasting: Podcasting is a new technology that enables people to publish audio content that other people can subscribe to and have transferred to a music program or digital audio player. Phishing
What is phishing: This term refers to creating a replica of an existing web page to scare a user into submitting personal data or password. The tactic is to copy the web page code from a major website and use that code to set up a replica page that appears to be part of the company's site. Also, called spoofing. A fake e-mail is sent out with a link to this page, which solicits the user's credit card data or password.

Cyberspace is used to describe where e-mail and chat conversation are held and to visit websites from other part of the real world. The cyber – prefix come from the Greek word kuberman. Cyber came into English in the 1940s when mathematician Norbert Weiner used cybernetics as the name for his theories related to communication.

Windows 7 (BETA)

500 Internal Server Error
As you noticed when you click www.releton.com or sometimes other websites, when the result is 500 Internal Server Error, which means something has gone wrong on the website’s server but the server could not be more specific on what the exact problem is. The 500 Internal Server Error is a server side error means the problem is not with your PC.
